How to Get Top Google Ranking Google bought a company a few years ago called 'Applied Symantics' that owned a patent for LSI (Latent-Symantic Indexing). Google wants to return the most relevant search results to its visitors, so it employs Artificial Intelligence algorithms to determine these most relevant results in its SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages). What does all of this mean? It means if you want to be #1 in Google, your website has to be the most relevant, and any website that is getting rank now by 'fooling' the almighty Google is soon to be extinct! So what do you do? Build your website around a Theme, and keep things tightly focused in categories (called 'Silos' - like Silos of information). Keep links flowing in an orderly fashion from your home page to each of your Silo pages, and keep the content pages of your site organized into the proper Silos. Links within your website should then flow from each Silo page to the content pages within that Silo. This reinforces the theme of each Silo and the overall theme of the website.
